Fireworks Cause Fire in Tuolumne County

     Despite a fireworks ban in Tuolumne County, people apparently bought fireworks in a neighboring County and carried them into Tuolumne  County, and in one case set them off, causing a
grass fire.

    According to CalFire the Green Springs Cal Fire station was called to put out a fire in the 11000 block of Highway 108. One Tuolumne county engine also responded.

    The fire was quickly distinguished with no injuries and no estimate dollar amount reported.
