Chris W on Water

  We are very concerned that Chris W. who is running to clone for Steve Wilensky in District 2, has no clue about water rights.

   He stated at the Board of Supervisors meeting on Tuesday that he wanted Wild and Scenic, (meaning allowing more of our water to flow downstream) to be the designation of the Calaveras River. 

   He doesn't seem to understand that he is being set up by Southern California to be able to say that we don't need more water in Calaveras County, so they should get it.

   In fact, W said that Calaveras County has an INFINITE amount of water for any uses we may choose it for.

    We need to fight for every drop of our water, Mr. W. At least we know now where you stand, and how to vote in November. Anyone who wants to give our water to LA, doesn't belong in office.
