Edward "Mike" "Bearpaw" G. Rehan, of Glencoe, passed away at Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento on December 6, 2012. He was 73.A native of Sioux City, Iowa, he had lived in Glencoe for 13 years after retiring as an airline pilot.
Mike served as a Military Patrolman in the Army Airforce, had worked for Greyhound as a bus driver, and had been an airline pilot for many years.
He also fed over 6000 people in Oakland who were needy.
He is survived by his wife Linda Jessop, children Michael Rehan and Mary Rehan, ex-wife Margo Rehan; step-children Pamela Hendricks, Deborah Nixon and Matthew Jessop and 5 grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Andrews Catholic Church in San Andreas on Friday, December 14, 2012 at 1PM on Church Hill Road.
Graveside services will be held immediately following at Independence Cemetery in Railroad Flat.
