Traffic Accident at Hwy 4 and Big Trees Parkway

   UPDATE:  As of 4:30 PM the highway is now open.

   UPDATE:  Hwy 4 was shut down at 4 PM due to accident. Tow trucks advised they need to go wrong way to get to accident. CalTrans help has been requested; for sand and plowing.

    A traffic accident
has been reported to CHP at 3:20 PM on Hwy 4 at Big Trees Parkway in Ebbetts Pass.

   The roadway may be partially blocked. CHP is enroute to the scene. No injuries have been reported.
