Because both candidates are Republicans this is an historic election, that will be decided based on many important issues.

We are compiling his answers to your questions and will post it later. We believe you will be very interested in the results.

   Stay tuned!

Letter to the Editor...About Bigelow and Oller

   Dear Sierra Sentinel:

It is so obvious that Rico Oller's people are angry and now writing things to try and hurt Frank Bigelow because someone actually met, interviewed, and published the information on your site.

This is a sign of desperation

Assemblywoman Olsen Endorses Bigelow

We just received word that in addition to Senator Tom Berryhill's endorsement, Assemblywoman Kristen Olsen has endorsed Frank Bigelow for Assembly 5th District.

SB 1221 Passes Assembly-Awaits Governor

Now the only thing between hunters using hounds to track and torture bear and bobcat is Governor Brown's signature.

If he signs it, the only bear hunting that can be done with hounds is a depradation hunt. We hear that the DFG

Bigelow vs. Oller for Senate

This dog was abandoned as dead after
being injured while hunting
After the SB1221 controversy, we asked all of the people running for office this November where they stood on hunting bear with dogs. Only 14 states still allow hunting bear with hounds, including California.

We didn't need to ask Rico Oller, since its all over the internet about how he hunts bear with hounds. It affected his last run for office, and became quite a scandal.

Letter to the Editor...About our Supervisors and Noise

   Dear Editor:
Our Supervisors are passing an ordinance against noise in Calaveras County.

This is exempt from our Supervisors
noise ordinance. Lobbying???
No, fear of being SHOT!
To show how they think, you will not be able to pick up a guitar and play it legally, but you can pick up a gun and shoot it all day long under this ordinance.

Guns are exempt! Yes, that what I said. The Supervisors have made shooting and guns totally exempt under this ordinance.

There is nothing more jolting to the nerves of a neighbor than the sound of gunfire.

I think they need to have a psychological checkup. No, they need to be kicked out of office.

Guns and barking dogs, cannons and all shooting is exempt?  You people are totally screwed.
