Take Two Tax Cuts.....

   President Obama was going down the list of problems for which the Romney people would say could be solved with another tax cut, when he said "Coming down with a cold...take two tax cuts, roll back 2 regulations and call me in the morning.."

   The crowd went wild.and Gabby Giffords, who was still in the hall, was waving her flag, trying to stand, with her husband on one side and her best friend Debbie Wasserman-Schultz on the other side.  

Likely Fire on BLM Land

  As of 6:45 PM on September 6, 2012, the Likely Fire which is on BLM study land near the town of Likely, was human caused, when a fire in a motorhome spread into the nearby brush and grass.

   It is now 8000 acres and 30% contained. Several homes are threatened at this time.

Bagley Fire Near Big Bend

   The Bagley Fire in the Shasta/Trinity National Forest is 70% contained after burning nearly 46,000 acres as of September 6, 2012 at 6 PM.

Care of Animals

  CalFire tweeted this today: California law punishable  as a felony any person who fails to provide proper food, drink,  shelter or protection from the weather to any animal.

16 Complex Fires are Two Fires

  The 16 Complex Fires are actually two fires about 4 miles apart on Hwy 16 in the Rumsey Canyon area of Colusa County.

   The total acres burned was just updated  September 6, 2012 at 7:15 PM  as 9753 acres and it is now at 20 % containment.

   The cause of these two fires in under investigation.

Vehicle Blocking Road in Arnold

   About 5:30 PM on September 6, 2012, CHP received a call that a vehicle was blocking the road at Tipton House and Shirewood Lane in Arnold.

   A CHP unit was dispatched to the scene. The caller was concerned that no emergency vehicle could get around the vehicle block.
