Noise Report in West Point

  A report of noisy dogs on Meadowview Rd in West Point, was made to the Calaveras County Sheriff's Department.

   The resident says that these dogs keep waking them up every night. No indication of what the deputy did in the situation is noted.

Call to Sheriff to Get Ride Home from Nugget

  A call to the Calaveras County Sheriff's Office at 2:19 AM from the Nugget Bar in Muphys caused a deputy to be dispatched.

   A report of a possible assault turned out to be someone wanting a ride home. There is no indication of whether he got the ride home or not.

Disturbance in Mountain Ranch

  A call was made to the Calaveras County Sheriff's Office at 1:15 AM on September 22, 2012, due to a disturbance.

   A verbal altercation on Swiss Ranch Rd in Mountain Ranch was the cause. No arrest was made.

Arrest Made at Murphys Chevron

   Around 11:30 PM on September 21, 2012 a Calaveras County Sheriff's deputy responded to suspicious circumstances at the Murphys Chevron Station.

   One person was arrested. We have no other details at this time.

Overturned vehicle in Copperopolis

      September 22, 2012:  CHP received a report that around 6:30 PM a tan sedan overturned and landed on its wheels into a ditch on Copper Cove Drive at Black Creed Drive in Copperopolis.

   A slim build male wearing a black hat and black tank top was seen running from the vehicle with 2 beers in his hands.   CHP is at the scene. No injuries are reported.

 

Palomino Horse Loose in Jamestown

  About 3:55 PM on September 22, 2012 a CHP was flagged down by a driver who said there was a palomino horse running loose on Racetrack Rd. in Jamestown.

   Cowboy Tryone was busy chasing cows, so the CHP has to round up the horse and find the owner.

   Use caution in that area until cleared.

Traffic Accident in Tuolumne

 September 22, 2012 at 2:25PM:  CHP has just arrived at a traffic accident that occurred at Tuolumne and Maranatha Rds in Tuolumne at 2:05 PM.

    An ambulance is also enroute. Use caution if driving in that area until cleared.

Disturbance in Copperopolis

   A call came in to the Calaveras County Sheriff's Office about a disturbance on Baker Street in Copperopolis on September 21, 2012.

   Apparently a verbal altercation was taking place over a dog and some personal belongings. No arrests were made or citations issued.

Two reports of Gunfire in Railroad Flat

  Two separate reports of gunfire were made to the Calaveras County Sheriff's Department on September 21, 2012 from a resident on Blossom Ln and Hofeditz Rd in Railroad Flat.

  The second report said they had heard gunfire for half an hour. No citations were issued or arrests made.

   THERE IS NO LAW TO PREVENT THIS UNDER THE SOUND ORDINANCE OR WEAPONS LAWS IN CALAVERAS COUNTY!

Burglary on Pine Drive in Arnold

   A burglary that had occurred was reported to the Calaveras County Sheriff's Department on September 21, 2012.

    A resident on Pine Drive in Arnold stated that their cabin had been burlarized. A deputy responded and took the information.

  No indication was made if there is a suspect in this case.

Arrest at Murphys Park

  The Calaveras County Sheriff's Office made an arrest after complaints were received of a woman who had apparently been drinking was yelling in Murphys Park on Algiers Street
