Murphys sanitary incident

Something about the information below doesn't seem to pass the "smell" test. Witnesses have a completely different story.  See Assault at Murphys Sanitary District.

The Sierra Sentinel requested information from the Sheriff re:  MSD incident of October 10, 2012.
A woman named Ann Hitchman reported that she was at the water/sewer board meeting when a member's boyfriend pushed her husband.
The woman and her husband declined to have anything done about this incident at this time (unknown why).
Because they declined action, no report was written.

What a Great Debate

Two Catholic VP candidates went head to head on many issues from Afghanistan to abortion rights.

It was very clear that Vice-President was the clear winner; confident, fiery and without personal insults.

Vice-Presidential Debate Tonight

At 6 PM on NBC, the Biden vs Ryan debate begins.  Could be a lot more interesting than most VP debates.

The two candidates are in Kentucky getting ready for the starting gate.

Firewood Theft in Hathaway Pines

A resident on Candy Rock Rd. in Hathaway Pines reported the theft of firewood to the Calaveras Sheriff's Office on October 10, 2012.

The public needs to remember that there are people who would rather steal their wood for the winter than cut it or pay for it.

Stack your wood around back of your house, and enclose it, if possible.

No one was cited or arrested in this instance.
