Blue and green honey tied to M&M's factory waste?


Blue and green colors are part of this beehive's honeycomb seen in Ribeauville, France, on Friday.Bees at a cluster of apiaries in France have been producing honey in mysterious shades of blue and green, alarming their keepers who now blame residue from containers of M&M's candy.

"Who is Kevin Gillbride?"

  This is what  Justin Smith asked after Jim Harbaugh and Gillbride exchanged nastiness this week.

   Smith was accused of getting away with holding by the referees, and Harbaugh angrily defended Smith and accused Gillbride, Giants Defensive Coach, of trying to influence the officials in their coming game.

   When asked about the situation, Justin Smith said "Who is Kevin Gillbride?

Sex Phone line Instead of Meningitis

   Rick Scott, Governor of Florida faced a bit of embarassment after he publicly announced the new Hotline phone number for people who had questions about the fungal meningitis outbreak.

   The actual number he gave out turned out to be a sex hotline.

Affirmative Action Losing its Grip?

   The PEW Research poll recently taken shows that although  Americans believe that discrimination against African Americans still exists, 6 out of 10 are against preferential treatment due to race in order to improve the position of minorities. .

Barbara Streisand in Brooklyn

   Barbara Streisand returned to Brooklyn to perfom a three hour concert at the swanky  new Barclays' Center.  Critics report that she was as good as ever, and the crowd swooned with each song she performed.

Traffic Accident in San Andreas

  At around 6 PM  on October 13, 2012, a traffic accident was reported to CHP at Mountain Ranch Rd and Pope Street in San Andreas.

   Apparently there were no injuries. A CHP unit has been dispatched to the scene. Use extra caution if driving in that area until cleared.

Traffic Accident on Skunk Ranch Rd

   UPDATE:  At 5:56 PM CHP was still discussing intoxication and releasing the subject.

   UPDATE:  The road was cleared as of 3:15PM 

   CHP is now in the process of handling an accident that occurred on Skunk Ranch Rd and Mine Dump Butte in Murphys.

   An ambulance and tow truck were dispatched to the scene around 2 PM. 

Appraisal of Angels Camp City Manager

   At 3:30 PM on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, the Angels Camp City Council meets in closed session to give Michael McHatten, current City Administrator an evaluation.

   Many questions have arisen of McHatten over recent weeks, and we have to wonder if the City Council will take it all into consideration.

  The City Council meets at 6 PM at the Firehouse. On the agenda is mainly changing some codes to help out the downtown historical (or hysterical) district.

The City of Angels Camp Has Lost its Way!

   We are starting a new series of articles about what is wrong at the City of Angels Camp. The firing of the museum director and the public's revulsion at the idea of serving on the City Council are serious indications of deep management issues within the government.

   Abuse of Power, and overreach of authority, and harrassment of businesses is only part of it. If you have had any problems with the City recently, feel free to let us know.

   Melisa Ralston, who makes a lot of money working for the city has a lot to answer for. We are in contact with Mr. McHatten, to try and find out why "The City of Angels Camp has Lost its Way".

What Religion?

   A recent PEW Research Poll shows that 1 out of every 5 American adults are NOT affiliated with any religion.

   That is 20%, up from 15% only 5 years ago.  Some claim to be agnostic, some aethiests, and 33 million say they  just have no specific religious affiliation.

Burglary Reported in Hathaway Pines

   The Alpine Business Park on Commercial Way in Hathaway Pines reported a burglary had occured in a storage unit on the property on October 12, 2012.

   There is no indication of whether a suspect is known at this time.

Battery Report at Murphys Hotel

   Around 1 PM on October 12, 2012, the Calaveras Sheriff's Office responded to a call from the Murphys Historic Hotel about a battery occurring there.

   There is currently no indication of an arrest made or whether an investigation is ongoing.

Suspicious person arrested in Mokelumne Hill

  On October 12, 2012  the Calaveras Sheriff's Office received a report of a suspicious woman walking and crying in the 13 curves area of  Hwy 49 in Mokelumne Hill.

   A deputy responded and an arrest was made. No other details are available at this time.
