   Since Cowboy Tyrone is retiring, we'll have to find a new cowboy for our roundups.

  Be extra cautious if traveling in that area until they clear the road.

Romney's Orca Ran into a Democratic Net

   The Romney campaign spent hundreds of thousands on a stat-of-the-art computer system to get out the vote that took months to set up.

   What happened?  An election day meltdown that included Romney himself.  Called now "failwhale", nothing seemed to work right and people in the campaign were left without access to necessary information.

   Apparently, calling it "Orca" because it would be a killer whale to put them over the top, was a complete bust, or perhaps was swallowed by a Goldfish.

Calaveras Local Agency Formation Commission

  Calaveras LAFCO meets Monday November 19, 2012 in the Board of Supervisors Chambers in San Andreas at 6 PM.

   The CALAFCO conference in Monterey will be discussed. Also on the agenda is ethics training.

    Forming a policy for annexation policies for disadvantaged communities will also be discussed.

    Cancelling the December meeting is also on the agenda for approval.

  

49ers and Rams Tie--Like kissing your Rival

   It is true! The 49ers and the Rams ended up with a tie game, the first one since 1986. So, the Niners are now 12-2 and 1 for the season.

    Did you see the commercial for the new Santa Clara Stadium. They are selling tickets already.

Car Hit Deer near Pine Mountain Lake

   CHP is enroute to the scene of a vehicle that hit a deer on Hwy 120 at Ferretti Rd., the entrance to Pine Mountain Lake.

   It was reported that the deer is injured and still in the road. They are attempting to get help to move the deer out of the road.  Use extra caution in that area until cleared.

Wizard of Oz Dress Sold at Auction

   The original dress worn by Judy Garland in the 1939 Wizard of Oz was sold at auction over the weekend for $480,000.

     Julien's Hollywood auctions also sold a Steve McQueen jacket for $50,000. The buyers were not identified.
