   At 4:45 PM:  There's a large black bull reportedly on the right hand side of the road at Hwy 49 and Hwy 26 in San Andreas.

     Where is Spellwoman and the TP'ers? They better get after these critters.

   Be extra cautious if driving in that area until cleared.

Traffic Accident Near New Melones

   A traffic accident on Hwy 49 at New Melones around 4:35 PM has an ambulance and CHP enroute.

   A white sedan ran off the road and hit a sign. Be extra cautious if driving in that area.

   UPDATE:  The Yolo County Coronors has released that Tommy Flippo is the  PG&E employee who died in the crash in Sacramento

   UPDATE: Friday 6 PM: There is a possibility that the driver had a heart attack. More will be known after an autopsy. He had nearly 30 years of service with PG&E, we are told..

    UPDATE  7:30 AM:  We understand that the pole the PG&E truck hit was clarified as actually a signal. The truck hit hard enough that the frame appeared to be bent and the cab badly mangled.

   The workers name has not yet been released, but we understand it was one of their older employees. The accident occurred around 2 AM.

   CHP reports an accident occurred on Hwy 88 at Fiddleton Silver Lake Rd in Volcano, Amador County.

    This is on a blind curve and a Subaru is blocking one lane.  No injuries have been reported.

Noise Disturbances Reported on November 28, 2012

   Disturbances of Noise reported to the Calaveras Sheriff's Office around Calaveras County on November 28, 2012 included a horn being blown on Toyanza Drive in San Andreas for 2 hours, a verbal altercation at La Contenta Village Mart in Valley Springs, and a verbal altercation on Littlejohn in Copperopolis.

   No one was arrested or cited in any of these incidents.

VW Jetta vs deer vs fence

    UPDATE:  A tow truck didn't arrive on the scene until after 10 AM.

    At 8:50 AM a solo vehicle, a VW Jetta hit a deer and then a fence at the Pine Grove/Volcano Aquaduct in Amador County.

   No injuries were reported. CHP in enroute. Be cautious if driving in that area.

   On November 28, 2012 Christine Elizabeth Harmon, 31 was arrested for alleged being Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor, a misdemeanor and  Child Cruelty

Warm Temperatures Bring Rain; Snow at Very High Elevations

   The fact that this series of rainstorms are more of the warm "pineapple express" type means that even at 3500' early this morning, it was 50 degrees.

   The chains required sign that CalTrans posts yesterday was clear up at Bear Valley. At least the resort is getting some snow for ski season.

Traffic Accident on Hwy 88

   CHP reports a traffic collision on Hwy 88 at Tragedy Springs Rd, just west of  Silver Lake at 10:25 AM. An ambulance is enroute to the scene for a slight head injury.

   CalTrans is also onscene. Use extra caution if traveling anywhere in the high country during the next few days of storms.

Plane Crash in San Andreas

      UPDATE:  The pilot of the plane was identified as Russell Hackler, a veterinarian from Danville. The FAA is investigating the crash.

Large Rocks Blocking Road

    CHP has responded to Hwy 108 and Serrano in Sonora on more than one occasion on a report that there are large rocks blocking the roadway.

   The resident making this call says that they are blocking the roadway to try and slow people down because their dog was hit by a car.

   They also stated that they seem to know when a CHP unit is coming and move them, only to move them back onto the road when the officer leaves.

Grand Theft Reported in Burson

  A trailer and some metal were reported stolen on E. Hwy 12 in Burson on November 26, 2012.

  There is no indication of whether there is a suspect in the Grand Theft.

San Andreas Woman Arrested

   Elizabeth June McMahan, 30 of San Andreas, was arrested on November 26, 2012 by Calaveras Sheriff's deputies for alleged Assault with a Deadly weapon, not a firearm and Infliction of Corporal Injury on a Spouse or Cohabitan, both felonies.

   McMahan was booked into the Calaveras County Jail.

Arrest at Murphys Hotel

   Robert Clarence Abbott III, 31 of Avery, was arrested at the Murphys Hotel in Murphys on November 26, 2012 for alleged Possession of Concentrated Cannibis, Possession of a Controlled Substance, felonies, and for Violation of a Protective Order of Domestic Violence and Driving with a Suspended license, misdemeanors.

   Abbott was booked into the Calaveras County Jail by Calaveras Sheriff's deputies.

Lage Injured Deer Hit by vehicle on Hwy 26

   UPDATE:  CalTrans arrived at the scene at 9:10 AM and say deer is on the shoulder of the road.

    8:30 AM November 27, 2012:  CHP reports that it will be an hour before a Calaveras Sheriff's Deputy can reach the area of Hwy 26 and Jojoba Lane in Mokelumne Hill where a large injured deer is now in a ditch on the side of the road.

  CHP is also enroute. Please use extra caution if driving in the area until emergency vehicles arrive.

Coach's Daughter Dies of Lupus

 
 

Complications of the autoimmune disease lupus took the life of Alexandra "Sasha" McHale on Nov. 24. She was the daughter of Houston Rockets coach Kevin McHale. Only 23, she had been hospitalized for two weeks before her death, according to the team.


Traffic Accident in Jenny Lind

  6:50 PM: CHP is in the process of clearing an accident at Hwy 26 and Jenny Lind Rd in Jenny Lind. One vehicle landed in the ditch and a man was out flagging down traffic with a flashlight.

   Two vehicles were involved on a blind corner. One vehicle is still on the road. There don't appear to be any injuries reported.

   Use extra caution in that area until cleared.

 

Fox cuts Tom Ricks Short after he Attacks them

  In an interview of author Tom Ricks, he stated more than once that Fox had created the hype about the Benghazi attack for political gain, as they were acting as an arm of the Republican party.

   Whoa! Was that interview curtailed quickly!

   We just learned that Elvis' Rolex watch will be auctioned off by Christies of London. How much it is worth is unclear, but it will probably bring in a large amount of cash.

   Today it was revealed that TastyKakes maker Flower Foods may be ready to make an offer for Twinkies and some other Hostess brands.

   Flower has not yet made it public by according to the Wall Street Journal, they have secured access to a large pool of cash, which is usually a precurser to making a bid.

Waiting for a Toe????

   A Calaveras Sheriff's deputy responded to a vehicle parked on the side of the road with the hazard lights on and the door open at Hwy 12 and Central Hill Rd in San Andreas.

   The party told the deputy they had a flat and were waiting for a TOE, according to the Sheriff's records.

Three Suspicious People Dressed in Black

  The Calaveras Sheriff's Office initiated a stop at Turner Park in San Andreas due to seeing three subjects dressed in all black in the area.

  No arrests were made or citiations issued due to the suspicions.

50-60 Gunshots heard in Murphys

   A report of gunshots being fired on Coyote Drive in Murphys was received by the Calaveras County Sheriff's Office on November 25, 2012.

   Between 50 and 70 rounds were reportedly heard, according to the complaint. The record shows no report taken.

Theft of trees reported in Hathaway Pines

 A resident on Candy Rock Rd. in Hathaway Pines reported people were trespassing on his property and cutting down trees on November 24, 2012.

   We can tell him who two of them might be if he contacts us. The Sheriff's Office indicates it took no report on the crime.

Vandalism Reported in San Andreas

   In an apparent attempt to break in to a blue mailbox at St. Charles and Treat Ave in San Andreas, the mailbox was damaged.

   The Calaveras Sheriff's Office was notified.  There is no indication if there is a suspect at this time.

Felony Arrest in Valley Springs

    On Sunday, November 25, 2012, Calaveras Sheriff's deputies responded to a Valley Springs address where they arrested William Daniel Atkission.

   Atkission, 31 of Valley Springs, was arrested for alleged Infliction of of Corporal Injury to a Spouse or Co-Habitant,  Obstructing or Resisting an Officer,  III Firearms Discharge with Negligence, enhancement for Attempted Felony and Possession of an Illegal Assault Weapon, all felonies.

   Atkission was booked into the Calaveras County Jail.

  

49ers Top Saints Sunday Night

   The 49ers beat the Saints last night on Sunday Night Football. Jim Harbaugh, 49er coach, left Kaepertnick in the game, even after he threw an interception. Many believe that Smith is not too happy.

   The final score was  31-21.

Report of Plane Crash in Tracy

  Three CHP units are responding to a call of seeing an airplane go down in the Tracy area.

Jeep off Hwy 4 in Avery is Memorial

  UPDATE: 1:20 PM   A memorial is being held for the young girl that died last week at that location, according to CHP. A Jeep was originally reported as an accident off the Hwy at the Avery Hotel Rd. Cars are pulled over everywhere in the area, causing a traffic hazard.

 CHP reports that they are responding to a call of a Jeep Wrangler that ran off the highway at Hwy 4 and Avery Hotel Rd. in Avery at 12:53 PM on November 25, 2012.

Heavy Fog Causes 6 Vehicle Crash in Chowchilla

   CHP have just finished clearing a six vehicle crash that occured in heavy fog at around 8:30 AM on November 25, 2012 in Chowchilla.

   One person is reported to have died in the crash. Multiple ambulances and tow trucks were called to the scene, and Hwy 152 had to closed down for over two hours.44

   Please use caution is traveling to the central valley as the fog is thick and judging distance is difficult.

Fight in Murphys Reported

   November 24, 2012: The Calaveras County Sheriff's Office responded to a compaint of a fight going on at Cactus Jacks Dawghouse in Murphys.

   Caller complained of fighting at the bar and outside the bar. Sheriff's deputies took a report. There is no indication of any arrest or citation.

   CHP is responding to a traffic accident at 6 Mile Rd and Old Murphys Rd. in Murphys. An ambulance is also enroute.

   At least one male subject is reportedly now out of the vehicle. A two truck has also been dispatched. Please use extra caution if driving in that area.

Spellman Brags About his Slurs to Women?

   UPDATE:  Now we have become aware of a Valley Springs TP? couple that he also used or were voluntarily involved in these slurs. We are shocked!!! More of a conspiracy than we ever thought possible.

   We have had a couple of people, who aren't on the TP (Tea Party or Toilet Paper) e-mail circuit ask if they can see the e-mails that Spellman is circulating about women. Unfortunately it will all be exposed
