Some lightning caused small fires

   June 9, 2013:  Although Calaveras County did not receive much, Tuolumne County did get some lightning
during the night.

   There is a possibility of thurnderstorms during the day today, but most of the lightning strikes have been dry, with small fires started in the northern areas of the state.

  No fires have been allowed to get out of control and there is no report of any fires at this time.
