   There have been rumors and reports surfacing the the FBI paid a visit to interview David Petraeus at his home on April 5, 2013.

   Officials have not stated what the reason was for the visit to the former CIA director.

Arrest at Ebbetts Pass Gas in Arnold

  After a deputy noticed a suspicious person at Ebbetts Pass Gas Service in Arnold on April 5, 2013 at around midnight, the deputy arrested the person on local warrants.

   No other details are available at this time.

Disturbance Reported in Valley Springs

   A disturbance, a verbal dispute caused a call to the Calaveras Sheriff's office on April 5, 2013 at around 5:05 PM on Oak Street in Valley Springs.

   The deputy arrived and took a report. No indication is given of any citation or arrest made.

Gun Stolen in San Andreas

   A theft of a firearm was reported to the Calaveras Sheriff's office on April 5, 2013 at around 2:20 PM on Main Street in San Andreas.

    There is no indication of whether they have a suspect at this time.

Male walking into traffic in Hathaway Pines...then later in Arnold

   A resident called the Sheriff to report that a male was walking on Hwy 4 at Canyon View in Hathaway Pines, along side the Hwy and into the traffic lanes around 1:35 PM on April 5, 2013.

   This was referred to CHP., but we all think we know who this was!

   At around 11:20 PM a report that a person was walking in the middle of the roadway on Hwy 4 at Grizzly Station was made to the Sheriff.  It took them a long time to get to Arnold!

Borrowed Dog... Not Returned?

   A call was made to the Calaveras Sheriff on April 5, 2013 about a dog that had been "borrowed" out on Hunt Rd. in Copperopolis.

   The reporting party stated that the person who "borrowed" the dog had not returned it. The Sheriff deputy stated that it was a civil issue.  Who loans out their dog???

Arrest in Mokelumne Hill

  After a Calaveras Sheriff Deputy checked out a suspicious vehicle at Jesus Maria Road and Hwy 26 in Mokelumne Hill at 9:30 AM Friday, April 5, 2013, an arrest was made on multiple charges.

   More details will be posted when they are released by the Sheriff.
