    4-30-13:  At 12:57 PM CHP received a call that cows are out on Hwy 12 and Lime Creek Rd in Valley Springs.

   They also reported that they are trying to get them to go back inside. CHP is enroute to that location.  Use caution if driving in that area.

   NBA player Jason Collins made sports history Monday, and drew widespread praise from fans, ex-teammates and President Bill Clinton. "I'm gay".

   Collins is the first player in professional sports to make such an announcement publicly. Collins has been a close friend of Chelsea Clinton since their days together at Stanford.

Tebow released from Jets! Ooooh, that hurts!

   The New York Jets drafted Geno Smith over the weekend and as of Monday, April 29, 2013, which left them with 6 QB's.

   Tebow was the first released. He had played little in his first and only season with the Jets.

Help Wanted! In Italy...

   Due to a crisis in Italy, they are short 6000 pizzaiuoli, or pizza workers.  The Italian business group FIPE say that despite the worst unemployent rate in two decades, these crucial roles in the land that invented the tomato and cheese pies are going unfilled, according to a report.

   So, high-tail it to Italy if you are out of work and like pizza.

       The trial will likely be drawn out and will be dipping into the dark side of fame and celebrity.

Queen Beatrix passes crown to son Willem-Alexander

   For the first time is over 120 years, the Netherlands will have a king, as Queen Beatrix passes the crown over to him today, April 30, 2013.

   Today is actually Queen's Day and their color, orange, is hanging everywhere, and is appearing in cakes, sweets, clothes and flowers.
