California Assembly back at work

   The California Assembly, after weeks of vacay, went back to work today.  We heard that Assemblyman Bigelow was named the Vice-Chair of the Assembly Appropriations Committee today.

   This is the committee that has jurisdiction over spending.

    What do you mean, back at work?
    If they worked for us, the people wouldn't be in such bad financial condition.
