Dear Sentinel:
I was just on Hwy 4 and happened to notice a short old man putting up an Oliviera sign. When I
got closer I could see it was that same guy who screwed up that deck guys campaign and who really helped Rico Oller lose.
I think his name is Preston something or other. He's the one no one I know can stand. I've heard him make threatening comments about our President and racist, too. He never talks about anything else but guns, guns, guns!!
I've also heard him say horrible filthy things about women. I know I would never support or vote for anyone who is involved with this Preston guy. Just warning the women in Ebbetts Pass.
Forget Oliviera and vote for either Borean or Callaway. We don't need more racists and people who are abusive talking about women to get elected. I figured you'd want to hear about this.

ReplyDeleteI remember the guy who ran against Callaway the last time. Same thing, pretending to be pro-business and jobs, with that Preston guy (I think its the same one imploding the whole thing) at the end can't get along with women, old girlfriend came forward or something like that.

ReplyDeleteThere is talk that the only reason the USFS hasn't closed that dangerous candyrock shooting range already is that the woman who is chief is afraid of that guy. At least Borean cares about others. He is a shooter, but he won't go to that illegal place to shoot near the residents.

ReplyDeleteNo one could be buds with a guy like that unless they agreed. That puts Olivera, Kuntz and this Preston guy all in the same boat. Hopefully someone "pulls the plug and they all sink" in this election. At least we heard the truth about Olivera now and not later.
ReplyDeleteI find it interesting how many different ways you can spell oliveras. i'm not even sure which one is right, but it doesn't matter now. Any business owner or resident that supports him has to be a racist in my opinion. you can't be friends with them and not be one, too.

ReplyDeleteAs an Arnold resident, many of these posts have raised concern re: Mr. Oliveira's current status with the Sheriff's dept. As I am a person who deals in fact rather than fiction, I made a call to the Sheriff's dept. to ask about the status of Mr. Oliveira. After speaking with 2 different people both concurred that YES Michael Oliveira is a Sworn Deputy with the Calaveras County Sheriff's Dept. and yes he is currently on their employee list. I hope that this squelches any concerns about that.
ReplyDeleteWho did you speak to. I have been told that he was never on any payroll. Simply a volunteer, nothing more. So I would really like to know if anyone knows what is actually going on at the Sheriff's Office. This just raises more concerns. Can I see a pay stub. Perhaps the SierraSentinel would post it for all to see.
