The other Supervisor waited for Cliff Edsel to return to the meeting before making comments on the Calaveras Sheriff Office's budget.
After Chris Wright, a long-time supporter of Unions, said he thought we should let the Sheriff keep the employees he wants, Edsel was at least honest.
He stated that "it's a matter of trust", regarding the Sheriff's Department, DUH, I wonder what he meant. Such an honorable Sheriff, who would never lie or cheat, right? A $9 million budget and what do they do???
Edson should not have voted until he reviewed the tape of the Sheriff's budget hearing Edson missed. I forgot it's Calaveras County.
