Fire in Sequoia National Forest

It appears as though this fire started near a clear-cut
area on the mountain. No cause has been
made public yet. USFS photo

   July 16, 2014:  As of 10 AM the USFS reports that the Nicholls Fire in the Sequoia National Forest is 1680 acres, but is 90% contained.

   The cause of this fire is under investigation.
