Day Fire over 12,000 acres

   August 2, 2014 at 9:30 AM:  The Day Fire, near the town of Day in Modoc County, is now 12,500 acres and is only 15% contained.

   Lookout Ranchettes are under mandatory evacuation. 150 homes are currently threatened.
