King Fire in the El Dorado National Forest-Hwy 50 re-opens

   September 17, 2014:  Hwy 50 was re-opened this afternoon after trees were cut down to stop Irene from crossing Hwy 50.

   This fire is over 18,000 acres and is still only 5% contained.
