U.S. Senate extends budget 5 days

   Late Saturday, the U.S. Senate extended the budget for 5 more days, after Elizabeth Warren of the Democrats and Ted Cruz of the Tea Party collected enough votes to defeat the existing one for $1.1 trillion that Boehner proposed.
