Results of Calaveras voter poll at Noon

We have completed a sample poll of voters for Calaveras County Sheriff and for Supervisor races in District 3 (Ebbetts Pass)  and District 5 (Rancho Calaveras).

At Noon we will post our results. This is a sampling, not an official or scientific poll. We will also post a few comments we received.

Calaveras County still unemployed

The February 2014 statistics for unemployment show that Calaveras county is still at 10.2% unemployed.   Amador and Tuolumne counties are both at 9.8%, while the US unemployment is 6.7%.

Calaveras County numbers could actually be much higher, depending on how many have dropped out of looking for work and are living on welfare.
