Sonora Police locate stolen vehicle at Courthouse

   According to Sonora Police Department, on April 11, 2014 they received a call from an auto dealership in Redding that a vehicle that had been stolen

Teens missing since 1971 found

   In 1971 two South Dakota teenage girls drove from home to attend an end of year party and never arrived. Although investigations of all kinds took place over the years, no sign of them was found.

   That is, until last fall, when the drought lowered the level in a lake near a road. The girls had run off the road and been killed when their car ended upside down in the lake. South Dakota authorities have just released positive identification of the skeletal remains found in the car.
