Terry Wayne Guyton of Mountain Ranch

   Terry Wayne Guyton, a longtime resident of Mountain Ranch, passed away at his home of unknown causes on November 3, 2014. He was 68.

black Cow on Pool Station Road

   November 10, 2014 at 1 PM:  A black cow has been reported out in the roadway on Pool Station Road between Hwy 4 and Hwy 49.

   CHP is en route to the area. Use extra caution if headed that direction.

Wrong way accident on Bay Bridge

   A Vacaville woman going the wrong way on the Bay Bridge caused a multi-vehicle accident Saturday night. She was arrested for alleged DUI and Driving without a license.

   The accident caused the bridge to be shut down at 8:30 PM Saturday night, backing up traffic leaving the City for hours.

Traffic Accident in Twain Harte

  November 10, 2014 at 11:15 AM:  CHP is at the scene of a traffic accident at Hwy 108 and Twain Harte Drive in Twain Harte.

   A black SUV and a smaller sedan are blocking access to main district of Twain Harte. A tow truck is responding.  Debris is in the lanes. An ambulance was called due to injuries.

Gilroy Rancher reports plane crash

   On Sunday morning a Gilroy rancher reported to authorities that there was wreckage from a small plane in his pasture.

   Apparently the small plane crashed on a flight from Hollister to Watsonville.  The passenger and pilot both died in the crash. Their names have not been released.

Two boats collide on Sacramento River

   Five people were taken to local hospitals after two boats collided near the Clarksburg Marina on the Sacramento River yesterday.

   Apparently at least one of the boats appeared to be speeding and not watching ahead. There were no deaths reported.

Felony Arrest in West Point

   On November 7, 2014 Calaveras Sheriff's deputies arrested Manuel Alex Ramirez (35) of West Point for allegedly Inflicting Corporal Injury on a Spouse, False Imprisonment with Violence and Assault with a Deadly Weapon, not a Firearm, all felonies.

   Ramirez was booked into the Calaveras County Jail.

Another Burglary in Arnold

    Another burglary in Arnold was reported to the Calaveras Sheriff,  this time on Pebble Beach Way.

   Neither Kuntz, nor his best buddy Oliveira have done anything to stop the burglaries, nor to catch and lock away the burglars and return property to its rightful owners.

Explosions in San Andreas

   On Saturday, November 8, 2014 around 8:35 PM the Calaveras Sheriff received two complaints of hearing explosions nearby.

   The Sheriff took no report of either incident.

Theft at MarVal

   On November 8, 2014 around 5:15 PM MarVal  Grocery Store in Valley Springs reported that someone walked out of the store with a basket of food and beer without paying.

   The Calaveras Sheriff's Office took a report of the incident.

Fight on Hwy 49// Arrests made

  After a fight was reported on Hwy 49 in San Andreas around 10:35 PM on November 8, 2014, the Calaveras Sheriff showed up.

   Arrests were made during the encounter.

Burglary in Copperopolis

   On November 9, 2014 a burglary was reported at a residence on Selene Way in Copperopolis.

   The Calaveras Sheriff took a report.

Hit and Run in Pine Grove

   November 10, 2014 at 8 AM:  A hit and run traffic accident was reported at Hwy 88 and Toyon near the elementary school in Pine Grove.

   CHP is en route. No injuries were reported.
