Amador County holding joint meeting

   On December 2, 2014 the Amador County Supervisors and Planning Commission are holding a joint session in the Board of Supervisors Chambers.

   It begins at 9 AM. The agenda is a Public Comment period on the Draft Environmental Impact Report for the new General Plan for Amador County.

Overturned vehicle near Lake Tulloch Resort

   UPDATE:  One person is being extricated from the overturned vehicle by the Fire Department. One lane is currently blocked.

Car plunges 200' down off Hwy 49

   December 1, 2014 at 1:25 PM:  A car with a mother and her son inside plunged 200' down a hill off of Hwy 49 in El Dorado County this morning.

  Fortunately no injuries were reported. A tow truck that was called found three other abandoned vehicles in the same area.  Construction in the area had limited traffic to one way at the time of the accident.

Native Daughters Holiday Open House

   This coming weekend, beginning Friday, December 5, 2014 the Native Daughters of Murphys will hold their Annual Holiday Open House.

   On Friday the 5th from 5 PM to 8 PM and on Saturday the 6th from 10 AM to 2 PM you are invited to 268 Main Street in Murphys for their Freshly Baked Christmas Cookie Sale.

Overturned vehicle in Tuolumne

   December 1, 2014 at 6:20 AM:  CHP is at the scene of a traffic collision where one vehicle overturned and is on its roof at Cherokee and Tuolumne in Tuolumne.

   The driver was able to exit the vehicle and is reportedly not injured.  A tow truck was dispatched as the vehicle is blocking the roadway.
