Fire near Placerville on Hwy 49

   June 15, 2015 at 3 PM:  Firefighters are battling a fire near Hwy 49 in the Placerville area. So far, it appears that 4 or 5 acres have burned.

   CalFire is attempting to encircle the blaze and bring it under control before it spreads.
