Greece rejects debt bailout terms--what next?

   The Greek voters resoundingly rejected the referendum on accepting the bailout terms of the IMF for its overdue debt.

   Their President had encouraged the no vote. So what will happen next. Greece says Europe needs Greece to stay in the Euro. hmmm...

Princess Charlotte christened today

   The Royal Family attended the christening of Princess Charlotte today.

   This was Princess Charlotte's 2nd public appearance.

Michael Douglas' mother dies

   Diana Dill Douglas Webster passed away at a Southern California hospital today of cancer. She was 92.

Semi on its side in Wallace

   July 5, 2015 at 12:45 PM:  A semi truck is on its side on Hwy 12 at Ward Lane, across from Rosettis in Wallace after colliding with a black Dodge Charger. A heavy duty tow truck has been dispatched.

   An ambulance is en route to the scene. CHP is at the site. Use caution in that area.

Billy Joel got married on 4th

   A 4th of July party turned into a wedding party for Billy Joel and his girlfriend Alexis Roderick.

   Friends were not told the wedding would take place so nothing leaked to the press.

Car runs off Tuolumne Road

   July 5, 2015 at 12:30 PM:  A Ford Taurus ran off Tuolumne Road at Wards Ferry Road in the Sonora area and landed on its side in a ditch, according to the report.

   An ambulance is en route to the scene. Use extra caution if in the area.

  

4th of July arrests

   Most of the arrests in Calaveras on the 4th of July were for disorderly conduct due to alcohol or drugs, avoiding arrest and other things that were misdemeanors.

   Two people from out of the county were arrested at Kautz for alcohol related misdemeanors.

Giants in Washinton, DC

   The SF Giants (42-40) are in Washington DC today to play the Washington Nationals (45-36). The game is on ESPN at 5 PM.
