Angels Camp City Coucill meets

   On Tuesday October 6, 2015 the Angels Camp City Council will meet in Closed Session to arrange for Mark Twain Health Care Center to use a City building.

   On the regular agenda is more money from Caltrans for the congestion??? along Angels Creek and two sidewalk segments on Hwy 49. (naturally, they do not tell us exactly where)


Vehicle rollover in Double Springs

   October 1, 2015 at 3:20 PM:  An elderly couple is reportedly involved in a rollover traffic collision on Hwy 12 in Double Springs.

   Emergency personnel are en route to the scene. Use extra caution if in that area.

Dogs on Hwy 4

   A puppy and a larger dog have been seen on Hwy 4 below Forest Meadows, running back and forth across the roadway.

   Use extra caution if in that area until someone can rescue them.

Butte Fire meeting in Railroad Flat

   We are told that on October 1, 2015 Cal Fire will hold a community meeting at the Railroad Flat School in Railroad Flat.

   The meeting will start at 6 PM and is being set up to offer assistance and answer questions to Railroad Flat residents.

A place for injured wildlife??

   We have been made aware of a wildlife rescue care facility in Tuolumne County that we were not previously informed about.

   It's called Mother Lode Wildlife Care. If you find an injured bird or other animal, The phone number is 209-677-7249.  They will assist you with the correct location to take an injured bird or other animal.

Traffic Collision in Copperopolis

  October 1, 2015 at 8:20 AM:  A traffic collision has been reported on Obyrnes Ferry Road at Copper Meadows Drive in Copperopolis.

   Emergency personnel are arriving at the scene. Be extra cautious if in that area.

Juvenile pedestrian killed near Hwy 4

Traffic Hazard: Deer on Obyrnes Ferry Road

   October 1, 2015 at 8:15 AM:  Be cautious on Obyrnes Ferry Road near Copper Cove Drive in Copperopolis, as deer have been reported in the roadway.

   Slow down! You cannot stop quickly on the wet roadways.

Wet roadways! Drive carefully!

  We finally got a little rain and will most likely get more as the morning goes on, so drive slowly as roadways can be slick.
