Free pole permits for Mountain Ranch area?
It seems only right that the Calaveras County Public Works Department should be giving free permits (usually several hundred dollars) to install a new electric pole at their burned out residences. Many will not even rebuild.
Some, however, have questioned that the person making this request has a contract with PG&E to make possibly millions of dollars providing these poles. Is there a conflict of interest here??? Perhaps if YOU offered free poles.
