Explosions in Paris

  UPDATE:  We just heard that the French President has closed its borders due to the explosions in Paris.

Traffic collision in Linden

     November 13, 2015 at 3 PM:   One car ran off the Hwy 26 after two cars collided in Linden near Wimer Road.

   CHP is en route to the scene. It isn't yet known if there are injuries.

Adopt a Mustang at Rancho Murrietta

   The BLM is offering mustangs who have been trained by inmates at Rio Consumnes for adoption this Saturday, November 14, 2015.

   The adoption will be held at 7200 Lone Pine Drive in Rancho Murrietta beginning at 9 AM.

Union Public Utility District meets in Murphys

    On Wednesday, November 18, 2015 the Union Public Utility District (UPUD) will hold a regular meeting at 7 PM in their office 339 Main Street in Murphys.

   On the agenda is discussion of the Hwy 4 Corridor committee (an ad hoc
committee).

Wendell Heier of Mountain Ranch

   On October 1, 2015 Wendell Heier of Mountain Ranch passed away. He was 57 years old.

   He was well known as a butcher at Big Trees Market it Arnold, then started his own butcher shop in Valley Springs. He currently was working at Senders Market in Mountain Ranch.

Disturbance reported on Canyon View in Hathaway Pines

   Not uncommon, a resident on Canyon View in Hathaway Pines reported a disturbance resulting from an altercation on November 12, 2015.

   We have heard of so many disturbances, caused by the "Oliveira WAR ZONE"

Traffic collision in Linden

   November 13, 2015 at 8:10 AM:  A traffic collision has been reported on Fairchild Road near Jack Tone Road in the Linden area.

   Apparently a pickup hit either a tree or a pole at that location. An ambulance is en route to the scene.
