Bob Dylan wins Nobel Prize

   Singer-songwriter Bob Dylan was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature for his contributions of "having created new poetic expressions within the great American tradition".

   Dylan is the first American so honored since Toni Morrison in 1993.
