As most everyone now knows, the Playboy Mansion is up for sale. The asking price is $200 million and that includes Hugh Heffner.

New gas station in Burson? 24,000 gallons fuel storage??

On January 28, 2016 the Calaveras Planning Commission will hold a hearing for the Burson Market, who is requesting to add a gas station to the property on Hwy 12.

Two 12,000 gallon above ground storage tanks are part of the request. A Conditional Use Permit is required by code, but we understand that Supervisor Edson (this is District 1) wants to waive that, as he and Supervisor Kearney did for the asphalt plant in Rancho Calaveras.
