Fake priest arrested: selling phony tickets to see Pope

   A man who was pretending to be a priest and making money by selling phony tickets to see the Pope, has been arrested in Los Angeles.

   He is charged with filing false .marriage licenses,

Marine General Robert Neller: All women should register for draft

   Top Marine and Army brass have made it public that they feel all men and women of draft age should have to register.

   General Robert Neller made the statement during a Senate Armed Services committee meeting.

Car hits tree off Hwy 99 in Galt

   February 3, 2016 at 11 AM:  A grey sedan who witnesses say was going to sleep or passing out, hit a guardrail and then ran off Hwy 99 and hit a tree at Liberty Road in the Galt area.

    CHP is en route to the scene. It isn't yet known if there are injuries. Be cautious if headed in that direction.

Rand Paul drops out of Presidential race

   One more person has dropped out of the race for President in 2016.

   Rand Paul announced that he has suspended his campaign. How can Bush stay in? He got less votes than Paul in Iowa.  Oh, Mommy and Daddy have money!!

Lady Gaga to sing at Superbowl

   Looks like Lady Gaga will be singing at the 50th Superbowl on Sunday.

  Yesterday it was announced that Gaga will sing the National Anthem.

Asphalt plant back on agenda

   On Tuesday, February 9, 2016 around 9:30 AM the Calaveras Supervisors will hear 6 complaints; appeals from residents on the Asphalt Plant that Supervisor (Freaky Pastor) Edson, Supervisor (Gun Lunatic) Oliveira and Supervisor (Ass-Phalt) Kearney want to force on Rancho Calaveras.

Chains required east of Arnold--Snowpack above normal

   February 3, 2016 at 8:40 AM:  Chains are required on Hwy 4 east of Arnold this morning.

   It is clear right now, but another snowstorm is expected later today.  Snowpack was 130% of normal on February 2, 2016. Hooray!!

Foxy peek-a-boo?

   This photo was taken at Lake Clark National Park in Alaska.  Seems a bit cold for hide and seek or peek-a-boo!

Early morning rollover off I-5 and I-205

   February 3, 2016 at 8:30 AM:  A car reportedly rolled over several times after leaving I-5 at I-205 near Tracy.

   An ambulance and tow truck were dispatched to assist. They are now working to clear the incident, so be cautious if in the area.
