Three vehicle crash in San Andreas

   March 17, 2016 at 5:45 PM:  Three vehicles reportedly collided at Main Street and Church Hill Road in San Andreas.

   An ambulance and tow truck are en route to the scene. It is blocking the roadway, so be cautious if headed that way.

Pigs Flew today...

   Senator Lindsay Graham just a week or so ago told a group that if a Senator shot and killed Ted Cruz on the Senate floor and the trial was held in the Senate that NO one would be convicted.

    In other words, he would support Ted Cruz when pigs flew.  Well, today pigs flew. Lindsay Graham announced he would be fundraising for Ted Cruz, in order to try and defeat Trump.

Car off Hwy 26 and through fence

   March 17, 2016 at 3:20 PM:  A car left Hwy 26 and went through a fence near Olive Orchard Road in Rancho Calaveras.

  CHP is en route to the scene. No injuries have been indicated.

$ 9 million lottery ticket still unclaimed

   A lottery ticket worth $9 million has still not been claimed. It was sold at a Valero gas station on Snell Ave. in San Jose.

  The winning numbers are 15, 19, 37, 22, 46 and mega number 10. The winner has 180 days from last Tuesday to come forward.

Frank Sinatra, Jr. dies

   Frank Sinatra, Jr. son of the famous singer, died today of cardiac arrest while in Dayona Beach. He was 72.

   He had worked for his father as musical director and conductor during his career. Frank Sr. died of a heart attack  at age 82. 

Wrong-way driver on Hwy 99

   March 17, 2016 at 12:10 PM:  A wrong-way driver has been reported at Hwy 99 and Lathrop Road.  Appears to be elderly man on the offramp going up now.

   CHP is en route. Be cautious if in that area.

Traffic collision in Oakdale

   March 17, 2016 at 8 AM:  A traffic collision has been reported at Oakdale Waterford Hwy and Claribel Road in Oakdale.

   A pickup and a Mustang collided. No injuries were indicated. A tow truck is required for the Mustang.

Injured deer in Copperopolis

   March 17, 2016 at 7:15 AM:  An injured deer has been reported on Little John Road at Copper Cove Drive in Copperopolis.

   CHP is en route to the scene. Use extra caution if  headed that way.

Slowly...times are changing for animals

   Sea World has announced that it has formed a partnership with the Humane Society of the United States and will phase out its current orca theatric shows.

   Pressured by the public to stop confinement of the orcas, they have admitted that times are changing and that they will begin focusing of saving orcas in the wild, and that their shows will be more educational from now on.
