Hallard Maxwell of Copperopolis

    Hallard Frank Maxwell of Copperopolis died at home on March 26, 2016 after a long illness. He was 89.

Dirt bike collision in Valley Springs

   March 29, 2016 at 5 PM:  A dirt bike collision has been reported on Dennis Court in Valley Springs.

   An ambulance, the Calaveras Sheriff and CHP are en route to the scene.


Murphys Sanitary District Special Meeting

   Murphys Sanitary District is meeting tomorrow March 30, 2016 for a Special Meeting to replace the regular meeting.

   The meeting begins at 10 AM on their new offices on Ernst Street in Murphys

Four car collision in Salida

   March 29, 2016 at 2:40 PM:  A four car collision has been reported on northbound  Hwy 99 and Hwy 219 in Salida.

   All vehicles are in the center divide. A tow truck is responding.

Computer group meets in Arnold

   The Sierra MacIntosh Users Group will meet at the Ebbetts Pass Fire Station on April 12, 2016.

   The meeting is open to the public and begins at 7 PM.

Where is Calaveras Supervisor Cliff Edson's Birth Certificate??

   We sent an email to Supervisor Cliff Edson, requesting a copy of his birth certificate, since he is attempting to gain another term and a full retirement from Calaveras taxpayers.

   We are attempting to verify his claim of being Hispanic.  Most everyone we've spoken to doubt his claim.  In fact, some say he was born in Africa and is not a citizen of the US.

Eric Kleinfelter involved in neighborhood criminal behavior???

UPDATE:  Turns out this game camera is one we have been told was put up by Eric Kleinfelter, well-known by us as a paid animal torturer and killer in California, working for the California Fish and Wildlife, as a favor for a jealous and alcoholic neighbor.  

Is the anonymous tip true? Did the F&W killer Eric Kleinfelter try to help a drunk get even for refusal to grant a driveway to through your land to his. Baiting, with a blind nearby.

California Fish and Wildlife (Game) TOTAL downfall?? Part I

  You would not believe what we have discovered about California State Fish and Wildlife, after registering a complaint about someone likely bear-baiting and hunting illegally in our neighborhood, using a game camera.

   Yes, in a neighborhood. We have photos!  It is shocking what is going on at our own state Fish and Wildlife department. And who was bear-baiting and hunting?  We will tell all!

Patty Duke has died

 Actress Patty Duke, who won an Academy Award for her portrayal of Helen Keller in "Miracle Worker" has died according to her manager.  She was 69.

   She began acting at the age of 8 and once had her own show "The Patty Duke Show" where she played herself and an identical cousin on TV.

Hwy 16 was closed for several
hours, but has now reopened.
  UPDATE:  According to CHP an officer was starting to chase a speeding car around 11:30 PM on March 28, 2016.

Head-on collision in Ione

   March 29, 2016 at 5:50 AM:  A head-on collision has been reported on Hwy 104 in front of the Mule Creek Prison in Ione.

   CHP and an ambulance are en route to the scene. Use extra caution if headed in that direction.

GOP says NO! to NRA?? Fear Violence at Convention??

   The Republican National Convention will be held in Cleveland, Ohio this summer, without GUNS??

   Although Ohio has open carry laws, the GOP apparently fears violence at its upcoming nominating get-together and has banned all guns from the convention, against the NRA's policies.
