   FACT #1: The Metropolitan Water Company of Los Angeles has offered 175 million dollars to a Swiss company to buy the wetlands for their twin tunnels.

   FACT #2:  The only way to stop it is if everyone who cares donates every dollar they can afford to make a higher offer to keep the land from this LA water company.

Stockton teen comes home from school to find parents dead

    June 8, 2016:  Shawn and Christine Williams were found in their home on Rock Creek Court in Stockton this afternoon by their teenage son who returned from school.

   A murder suicide is suspected, but the investigation is ongoing per Stockton Police. The teen is with other family members.

Fence hit and run on Tulloch Dam Road

   June 8, 2016 at 1:40 PM:  A resident on Tulloch Dam Road in Jamestown reported that a vehicle hit his fence and then fled the scene.

   CHP is en route to the scene.

Collision in Ceres

  June 8, 2016 at 1:30 PM:  A traffic collision has been reported at East Service Road and Faith Hill Road in Ceres.

   CHP is en route, along with an ambulance. Be cautious as it is blocking the roadway.

Car goes over side off Big Hill Road in Columbia

   June 8, 2016 at 10:55 AM:  A car has reportedly gone off Big Hill Road and over the side near Cedarcrest Road outside Columbia.

   CHP is en route. It isn't know if there are injuries.  Be cautious if headed that way.

196 acres burned at Henry Coe State Park

   The Coe Fire, which started around 4:30 PM on June 7, 2016 is currently 196 acres and is now 30% contained.

   This is in Stanislaus County.

Anthony Silva in runoff for mayor of Stockton

   Looks like the incumbent Mayor of Stockton Anthony Silva will be in a runoff with Michael Tubbs in November 2016.

   Tubbs has around 34% of the vote and Silva has 26%. Silva has been under pressure due to his wanting to increase the sales tax to pay for law enforcement.

More rules about signs because of Supervisor Oliveira's corrupt campaign

   We saw a whole new list of rules about signs put out by Calaveras County about political signs as a result of the corrupt campaign run by Supervisor Oliveira in 2014.

   Oliveiras campaign committee put signs up anywhere illegally and because of his friendship with Kuntz, nothing was done to him. His corruption began early and
continues to this day.

Democrats split in Calaveras--Clinton wins

   Although Hillary Clinton won in Calaveras County's June 7, 2016 primary, it was very close.

   Sanders came in with 45% to Clinton's 50%, showing how many poor people there are in Calaveras.

Republicans--81% voted for Trump racism in Calaveras County

  If you think we have been kidding around about how much racism there is in Calaveras County, look at last nights Presidential primary vote.

   Trump got 81% of the Republican votes, proving that they like what Trump stands for, racism at its worst!  It's no wonder this county may have its own KKK Project starting up.

Less than half of registered Calaveras voters bother to vote??

   When we saw that around 13,000 people had voted in Calaveras County in yesterday's primary, we wondered how many are registered to vote in the county.  How is the Tea Party getting control??

   Per the Elections department, over 27,000 residents are registered voters.  Do you see a problem here? People are discouraged by what they see nationally, we feel, and are staying away.  Sad for our county.

Distriacted CHP officer causes teen death

   Yesterday afternoon, June 7, 2016 around 3:30 PM a CHP officer on I-5 near Orland was distracted by his computer and rear-ended a car, causing it to crash into two other vehicles.

  The 17 year old in the back seat of the small car hit by CHP was killed. Others were taken to local hospitals.  I5 was closed until nearly 10 PM and the investigation continues. So far, the CHP officer has not been charged.
