CHP report on Hwy 49 crash

   According to a CHP report on September 6, 2016 around 1 AM Bobby Kelly (21) of Sonora was driving a 1985 Chevy El Camino on Hwy 49 south of Red Hill Road outside Angels Camp at approximately 40 MPH.

Neal Mangin of Murphys

    Neal "Judson" Mangin of Murphys passed away on May 17, 2016. He was 90 years old.

   Born on June 4, 1925 in San Jose, he graduated from San Jose High School and served n the Coast Guard during WWII.

Overturned car in Mokelumne Hill

   September 7, 2016 at 8:45 AM:  A car is overturned on the roadway on Hwy 26 near Ponderosa Way in Mokelumne Hill.

    CHP is at the scene and a tow truck is responding. Injuries were minor. Take care if headed that way.

Traffic collision in Jamestown

   September 8, 2016 at 8:30 AM:  A traffic collision has been reported on Hwy 108 near Obyrnes Ferry Road in Jamestown.

   Two vehicles collided, one is rolled over onto its roof in the ditch. Ambulance, tow truck and CHP are en route to the scene. Be extra cautious if in the area.

Water outage September 8, 2016 in Arnold

  According to CCWD, they plan to have a water outage in Arnold in the Meadowmont area on September 8, 2016 from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

   This outage is in order to complete some work on the water lines in the area of Meadowmont Subdivison.
