   Looks like Trumpty may have met his fate,

   He says he's a genius cause he lost a billion, huh?,
   That's such a surprise! His tiny hands are just chillin, duh.

   Trumpty's so afraid of Hillary, he asked his daughter to take his place,
   But she said no, DADDY!  I have to save SOME face.

  Meantime, he's forgotten all about his giant wall,

Work van off Hwy 99 into tree

   October 3, 2016 at 3:15 PM:  A Chevy work van left Hwy 99 near Beckwith Road in Modesto, went through a fence and hit a tree.

   An ambulance and tow truck are responding. Use extra caution if in that area.

Cows out on Hwy 108

   October 3, 2016 at 3:10 PM:  Cows have been reported out on Hwy 108 in the Long Barn area.

  Be cautious if headed that way until CHP can locate the owners and get them off the roadway.

Hwy 4 closed at Mt. Reba

   October 3, 2016 at 3 PM:  Hwy 4 is closed due to snow at the Mt. Reba turnoff in Ebbetts Pass due to a storm.

   There is no access to the pass at this time.

Brother of victim sought by Calaveras Sheriff

   Per the Calaveras Sheriff's Office they are now searching for Sean McGeough, brother of the woman found deceased in San Andreas, believed to be Stephanie McGeough.

Calaveras Supervisors get General Plan

   On Tuesday, October 4, 2016 the Calaveras Supervisors will be presented with the completed General Plan by Peter Maurer, Planning Director.

   Gee, its only been 12 years or so and several Planning Directors, to get it completed. It still will need Environmental Review.  Also, it isn't really GENERAL, there are many Specifics, as the planning commissioners did special favors for many landowners.

Big rig lost control on Hwy 99 in Stockton

   October 2, 2016 at 10:30 AM:  A big rig loaded with pallets of drinks lost control and reportedly took out a guard rail, a power pole and fencing on Hwy 99 near Lathrop Road in Stockton, ending up in an orchard.

   Caltrans has been notified of the damage.  An ambulance and equipment to offload the trailers has been dispatched, along with a tow truck.

Big rig without chains on Hwy 88

   October 3, 2016 at 10:25 AM:  A big rig with doubles loaded with garlic is stuck on Hwy 88 at Carson Spur without chains.

   A big rig tow is being dispatched to the scene. Use extra care if headed that way until CHP can clear the roadway.

Arrest in Mokelumne Hill

   On October 2, 2016 Calaveras Sheriff's deputies arrested Lucas Jonathan Garrett (22) of Valley Springs, on China Gulch in Mokelumne Hill.

   Garrett was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for allegedly Inflicting Corporal Injury on a Spouse and Violation of Probation, both felonies.

Paradise woman arrested in San Andreas

   On October 2, 2016 Calaveras Sheriff's deputies arrested Yvonne Nichole Gallardo (29) of Paradise, on Russell Road in San Andreas.

   Gallardo was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for allegedly Deceiving the Court with a Fake Birth Certificate, a felony and for Providing False Identification to Specific Law Enforcement, Driving without a License and Possession of Controlled Substance Paraphernalia, misdemeanors and was released on bond.

   It seems that it would be hard to parody Donald Trump's performance at the 1st Presidential debate of 2016, but somebody had to do it.

  And Alec Baldwin sniffed and grunted and complained his way into parody history on Saturday Night Live on October 1, 2016.  (sniff, sniff, snort, snort)

Fatal collision in Plymouth

   On October 1, 2016 a car that had apparently crossed over the double yellow lines on Hwy 16 in Plymouth collided with another vehicle.

   One person died in the fiery collision, which closed Hwy 16 near Latrobe Road for several hours.

Butte County deputy arrested

      The Butte County Sheriff's Office has reported that a deputy, Ryan Woolery (32) was arrested for alleged having intimate contact with an inmate at the Butte County Jail.

   Woolery has now resigned. Although the sexual contact was apparently consentual, Woolery will alleged be charged with a felony.

Caltrans working on Hwy 4

   October 3, 2016 at 7 AM:  Be extra cautious on Hwy 4 between Angels Camp and Copperopolis as Caltrans is working on that section again today.

   Expect traffic delays, and watch your speed. This is such a dangerous stretch of road for both workers and drivers.
