As usual, the Calaveras Supervisors put out their Board meeting agenda packet on Friday, October 21, 2016 for the meeting on October 25, 2016.
We have to wonder if the Supervisors actually read the entire packet. Do they even know what they are voting for??? This week's is 786 pages!! And part of it is the loan agreement which mortgages the county government center.

Calaveras Supervisors refinance $ 8 million loans
On Tuesday October 25, 2016 the Calaveras Supervisors will refinance another $8 million in loans. The current Supervisors can't stop spending our money!! Also, the county government center land is the backing for these loans.
These are cleverly hidden as Certificates of Participation (COP's) so the public won't notice. Why are we so in debt???? Stop spending!! It costs $319,000 just for the issuance of these loans! What are they thinking???
