Tree falls on house in Ebbetts Pass

   October 30, 2016 at 3:20 PM:  A tree has reportedly fallen on a home in the Ebbetts Pass area. We don't have the name of the street at this time.

   Everyone got out of the house safely and the fire department has turned off utilities and secured the house. They want the building department notified.  There are so many dead tree in Ebbetts Pass. There are bound to be more of these.

Phoenix Lake area flooding

   October 30, 2016 at 3:20 PM:  CHP is at the scene of reported flooding on Phoenix Lake Road and Paseo de Lose Portales Road in the Phoenix Lake area.

   Be cautious if headed that way.

Mudslide on Hwy 49 in Moccasin

   October 30, 2016 at 3:15 PM:  A rock and mudslide has been reported at Marshes Flat Road and Hwy 49 in the Moccasin area.

    Be extra cautious if headed in that direction.

Chains required on Hwy 88

   October 30, 2016 at 3:10 PM:  Chains are now required on Hwy 88 at Silver Lake in Amador County.

Hwy 4 Ebbetts Pass closed at Mt. Reba

   Caltrans has closed Hwy 4 Ebbetts Pass and chains are required west of the Mt. Reba turnoff in Calaveras County.

   Drive extra carefully if you have to be out in this storm.

Traffic collision on Hwy 49

   October 30, 2016 at 3 PM:  A traffic collision has been reported on Hwy 49 at Electra in Amador County.

   A car has gone off the side and into a ravine. Multiple cars have stopped to try and assist. Be cautious if in the area. An ambulance is en route.

Mudslide on Hwy 49 in Mokelumne Hill

   October 30, 2016 at 3 PM:  A mudslide has been reported on Hwy 49 at Hwy 26 in Mokelumne Hill.

   Both lanes are affected. Avoid the area if possible.

Flooding on Hwy 49

   October 30, 2016 at 2:55 PM:  Hwy 49 is reportedly flooding around Cosgrove, outside Angels Camp.

   Be cautious if out and about this afternoon and there can be slides and flooding in Calaveras County.

World Series 3-1 Indians

   Last night the Cleveland Indians beat the very sloppy Chicago Cubs to take a 3-1 lead in the 2016 World Series.

   Tonight is game 5. and it could be over for the Cubs!

Vehicle vs. fence in Mountain Ranch

   October 30, 2016 at 10:35 AM:  A vehicle reportedly left Railroad Flat Road at Struckman Road in Mountain Ranch and hit a fence.

   CHP is en route to the scene. No injuries have been indicated in this collision.

Traffic collision in Valley Springs

   October 30, 2016 at 10:30 AM:  CHP has just cleared a traffic collision that was reported near Hwy 12 and Hwy 26 in Valley Springs between a Toyota and a pickup pulling a trailer.

   Minor injuries resulted from this collision. A tow truck is removing the vehicles.
