Calaveras KKK Project invites Candyrock gunners

   We just learned that the newly forming Calaveras KKK Project has invited all gunners from the Candyrock Shooting Range, led by the leading white supremacist in the county, to join them, one and all.

     We were informed by an anonymous source that there is excitement among the gunners at this prestigious invite. The last thing they were invited to was a funeral for a former KKK leader.

   November 30, 2016 at 11:10 AM:  Building materials are reportedly spilled on Hwy 99 northbound near Collier Road in Acampo.

   Born November 11, 1937 in Pittsburg, California,  he was 79 years old. He had resided at his home on French Gulch Road since 1970.

CHP arrests two in San Andreas

   On November 29, 2016 CHP arrested two San Andreas residents near the CHP office on Mountain Ranch Road.

    Kelsey E. Appling (27) and David Lloyd Knaak (38) were booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged Vehicle Theft and Receiving Stolen Property, both felonies and were then released on bond.

Massive and deadly Tennessee wildfires human caused

   The horrible wildfires which have burned hundreds of homes in Tennessee turned deadly yesterday and more people are missing.

  These wildfires were human caused, according to authorities, but they haven't said if they were arson.

   November 30, 2016 at 7:30 AM:  A parked car at the dead end of Oneto Road near Foppiano Lane in Stockton has just been reported to CHP.

Clear-cutting also forces innocent wildlife to try and
exist without habitat or to move into human inhabited areas.
    The SPI (Sierra Pacific Industries) company, who has been clear-cutting in Calaveras and other counties for some time now, promoting global warming, is tied to the Calaveras Community Foundation.

    They reportedly donate money to the foundation, and have just recently given them $2500. Many feel that donations made by SPI are to try and buy silence about their practices.  Many residents avoid organizations who take bribes from SPI.

   Larry Wilmore lost his job at Comedy Central when they axed The Nightly Show.  He is now going to collect unemployment, however.

   ABC has hired him for a multi-year contract with their studios to do a variety of jobs.

   On November 28, 2016 the Calaveras Sheriff got a report of pigs that were trespassing on someone's property on Victory Lane, causing damage.

   The Sheriff took no report!  Perhaps pigs don't arrest pigs???

  Wells Fargo Bank opened phony accounts for people to make themselves look good and charged them money for it. Now they are trying to force these people into arbitration to avoid lawsuits. They never signed anything agreeing to arbitration, but the banking judges are on their side.

   Other fraudulent business practices have been reported now at the Wells Fargo Company. Would you trust a bank like this now?  Can you trust the loan departments, who apparently have made people pay for appraisals not needed and other fraudulent activities.  Ask Elizabeth Warren!

CHP Thanksgiving traffic report

   According to CHP between 6 PM Wednesday and midnight last night San Andreas CHP handled 5 accidents. Unfortunately one was a fatality.

   Officers wrote 38 citations; 19 for speeding, 1 for double yellow lines, 1 for no seatbelt, etc. Resident officers were kept busy in the snow in Ebbetts Pass. They responded to numerous spinouts and wrote 3 citations for trying to drive in the snow without chains.

Arrest for Vandalism on Main Street in Murphys

   On November 27, 2016 Calaveras Sheriff's deputies arrested an alleged vandal on Main Street in Murphys.

    No other details are available at this time.

   UPDATE:  For those not aware of policy, when Angels Camp Police are not on duty, the Calaveras Sheriff's Ofice is contracted to cover for them.

Arrest for Vandalism in Murphys

   On November 27, 2016 the Calaveras Sheriff's Office arrested Taylor John Westberg (21) of Copperopolis on Fieldstone Drive in Murphys.

   Westberg was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged felony Vandalism and was released on bond.

Burglary on French Gulch Road

   On November 25, 2016 a residential burglary was reported on French Gulch Road in Murphys.

   The Calaveras Sheriff took a report of the incident.

   The Calaveras District 1 Supervisor election would have been closer between Gary Tofanelli and Cliff Edson if only Edson hadn't been such a mean bully.

  He seems to claim that it was marijuana that cause him the loss!  He's sooo wrong!  It was his constant nasty and mean bullying for nearly 4 years that everyone was sick of.  Enjoy your new vocation, Mr. Edson.  Washing dishes and waiting tables!!

Two bulldogs hit on Hwy 4

   November 27, 2016 at 3 PM:  Two bulldogs that were reported on Hwy 4 near Stallion Way outside Angels Camp have been apparently hit.

   One was indicated at already dead and the other injured.  CHP was assigned to head to the area.  Be extra cautious if headed that way.

Storm hiits motherlode

  November 26, 2016 at 2:45 AM:   The rain and snow have finally hit the motherlode, in the foothills and the mountains. No chain requirements have been listed as required yet on Hwy 4, but carry chains.

   And slow down, drive defensively, allowing room between yourself and other cars if you must go out.

Fatal collision on Hwy 12

   November 26, 2016 at 2:35 PM:  A fatal collision has been reported on Hwy 12 at Central Hill between San Andreas and Valley Springs.

   Apparently a garbage truck and an SUV were involved.  One person was fatally injured, per CHP. There may have been three vehicles involved. Two trucks are responding to the scene.

Be prepared to lose power in this storm

  November 26, 2016:   Due to the number of dead trees in Ebbetts Pass caused by the bark beetle, residents should be prepared for power failures in the coming storm. Snow is expected down to 3500'.

   Many of the dead trees are already bending over and will likely fall on power lines.  Hopefully none will fall on homes. Make sure you have candles and lanterns and plenty of wood nearby for warmth.

Breaking News: Recounts in three states

   First the Green Party candidate raised $5 million to start a recount of the Presidential ballots in three states.

   Now the Clinton campaign has joined in the assistance and will ask for Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan to be recounted.  It most likely won't make a difference in the outcome, but will make voters feel better.

      On November 22, 2015 the Calaveras Sheriff's Office arrested  Jay Jeremiah Stufflet (27) of San Andreas at his residence on Monte Vista Court.

    Stufflet was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for allegedly Carrying a Concealed Dirk or Dagger and for Violation of Probation, both felonies.

Calaveras Cannabis Urgency Ordinance is the SCAM!!!

  In another appeal before the  Calaveras Supervisors after a grower was denied a permit to grow cannabis, the attorney made clear what we have felt was true all along.

   You can't deny growers the right to grow without a permit and then also say you must have been growing in the past year in the same ordinance.  It's not just confusing, its almost intentionally false and misleading in its entirety. Lawsuits; we see lawsuits!!!

   When Supervisor Oliveira asked to be the representative to CSAC (California State Association of Counties) for Calaveras, he promised to make regular and complete reports.  He has NOT!!

  At the November 22,  2016  meeting, both Supervisor Ponte and Edson asked for a full report for the year and for a report on what CSAC and RCRC say about the new Cannabis law as it relates to counties.

Calaveras Supervisors meet without Chris Wright or Steve Kearney

   District 5 Supervisor Kearney has not appeared since losing his re-election on November 8, 2016. He and Chris Wright were both absent this morning at the Board meeting.

   The Board approved a new temporary CAO while they search for a new CAO is under way.

Kanye West tour cancelled--walks off Sacramento stage--hospitalized!

   After a week of unusual events (even for Kanye) and walking off the stage after three songs in Sacramento, Kanye West is reportedly in the hospital.

Another cannabis permit denial hearing in Calaveras--Booze industry wins!!

     At the Calaveras Supervisors meeting on November 22, 2016 there will be another appeal hearing for a denied cannabis cultivation permit.

  Since the drunks have done such a good job stopping cultivation in Calaveras County, its unlikely that even the Urgency Ordinance for cultivation will be renewed in 2017.

   According to the Angels Camp Police there is an infestation of parasites near Mark Twain Elementary School.

    Mark Twain Elementary was on lockdown due to parasites. ACPD served search warrants wearing parasite-proof suits hoping to find cocaine and other drugs for their investigation.  They did not elaborate as to what type of parasites were located or if they were arrested.

   November 21, 2016 at 10 AM:  Due to a leak, Calaveras County Water District has had to shut off water in Arnold that serves the Meadowmont subdivision and surrounding area.

  Hopefully water will be restored by noon today.

  UPDATE:  It was  determined that there is no fire at this time.  Most engines are returning to their stations.

City of Angels Camp bans 1st Amendment Rights for some--Lawsuits coming???

   Recently we learned that the City of Angels Camp is against any 1st Amendment Rights and have spoken to some who have been blocked from emailing the City at all.

  This Chief of Police and City Administrator are heavy into TRUMPISM and don't think that anyone, business or private parties, even the media should be allowed to criticize them.   Will they be sued. This is in addition to the racism that some have experienced from certain employees that was encouraged by the City.

Car rolls into U-Haul

   November 21, 2016at 9:45 AM:  A car has rolled down a hill and crashed into a U-Haul trailer in a parking lot at Hwy 49 and Ridge Road in Sutter Creek .

   CHP is en route to the scene.  The vehicle was reportedly one that had not been returned by the renter previously. No injuries were indicated.

   November 21, 2016 at 9:15 AM:   A semi has reportedly drifted off Van Allen Lane in Escalon and is stuck in the mud in a field.

CHP and a tow truck are en route to the scene. Be careful if in the area.

Car vs. Pole in Burson

  November 21, 2016 at 8:10 AM:  A car has reportedly crashed into a power pole on Burson Road  and Carol Lane in Burson.

   Be extra cautious as emergency vehicles arrive at the scene. The pole is leaning on the vehicle. No injuries have been indicated.

Car runs off Hwy 99 at Liberty Road

   November 21, 2016 at 8 AM:  A car reportedly overshot the overpass at Hwy 99 and Liberty Road outside Lodi and is now down in a ditch.

   A tow truck has been dispatched to the scene. CHP is en route.

Stuck in snow at Alpine gate

  November 21,  2016 at 7:35 AM:  A car is reportedly stuck at the Lake Alpine closure gate on Hwy 4.

  The area will need to be plowed in order for him to get free.  Don't head up the mountain without chains and 4 wheel
drive.

Snowing in Bear Valley

   November 21, 2016 at 7:15 AM:  It is snowing in Bear Valley and chains are required now at Cabbage Patch on Hwy 4.

   Drive carefully, as the roads are wet and slick. It's supposed to clear up later in the morning.

      Caltrans just put up a chains required notice on Hwy 4, just 3 miles east of Murphys, but we haven't seen or heard of any snow in that area yet.

   Perhaps they are expecting it soon.

Calaveras gets new CAO

   The Calaveras Supervisors meet on Tuesday November 22, 2016 in their chambers to appoint a temporary CAO to the position vacated by Shirley Ryan who is retiring.

   We couldn't locate a photo of Manuel Lopez, who is the person chosen to take her place for a few month, as the county searches for a new permanent CAO.

Pitch Fork on Hwy 49???

  November 19, 2016 at 4:05 PM:  Believe it or not a pitch fork has been reported on Hwy 49 near Deer Creek Road outside Angels Camp.

   Be cautious until CHP can arrive on scene and remove it.

Collision in Mokelumne Hill

   November 19, 2016 at 3:45 PM:  CHP is at the scene of a collision on Railroad Flat Road in Mokelumne Hill.

   An ambulance is en route to the scene. Be extra cautious as the roadway is blocked.

Power lines down in Arnold

   UPDATE:  We just learned that a tree is down at that location. Avoid the area if possible.  There are a lot of trees just waiting to come down if the wind gets bad.

Car runs off Camanche Parkway

    November 19, 2016 at 10:55 AM:  A car has run off Camanche Parkway near Campo Seco Road onto EBMUD property.

  No injuries have been indicated. Be cautious as a tow truck arrives to pull the vehicle back on to the roadway.

  Sad, but true!! There are a lot of orange colored ribbons tied round dead pine trees in Ebbetts Pass. There will be a lot less shade for many people next summer.

   Cabins or homes in the woods will no longer be homes in the woods for those who are losing most of their trees. More water and less fertilizer around them might have helped, we've heard. Oliveira, District 3 Supervisors, who pretends to be doing something about it, isn't doing anything!!

Trump settles University lawsuit for $25 mill

   Although Donald Trump says he admits no guilt, he has agreed to pay off three different lawsuit regarding a type of fraud surrounding Trump U, which litigators said was no university at all.

   He will pay $25 million dollars altogether, some of which goes to the other side's attorneys and the rest to the people who brought the lawsuits forward.

Traffic tie-ups on Hwy 4

😒😒   Please beware that although the Caltrans sign says work on Hwy 4 from Angels Camp to Copperopolis ended October 27, 2016, that it continues.

   Paving is being performed on the roadway and the public needs to know that it is not safe to travel at any rate of speed and to expect delays.
