....but not with Electoral College, Not my President, Trump is a Racist, Lock HIM up!!

Those are some of the signs seen on the streets with protesters across America since Donald Trump was elected President by the Electoral College, although Hillary got around a million more votes.

Finally, Brian Moss speaks

At the Calaveras Supervisors meeting November 15, 2016, Brian Moss, Asst. CAO sat silently while the Sheriff and the Board discussed the Office of Emergency Services.

When they seemed to be on the cusp of picking what they wanted to do, Moss spoke up and said that this is an INFORMATIONAL ITEM only!!  What?? An informational item  that needed a SPECIAL MEETING?????? Turns out, it was Edson's idea!!

Temporary Sheriff out Campaigning!!

The appointed temporary Sheriff in Calaveras County is using his time wisely. He doesn't waste his time hanging around the office or helping residents.

He has been seen out campaigning and taking photos for his campaign next year. Bad news!!

UPDATE at 11:55 AM:  We just went back into this account and all of the communications which were negative have been removed.

Calaveras Sheriff OES hints for MO' MONEY $$$$$

At the Calaveras Supervisors meeting on November 15, 2016 the Calaveras Sheriff's Office did absolutely NOTHING but tell the Board of Supervisors they want more money if they are to take over the Office of Emergency Services.

They showed photos of fancy vehicles, computer rooms and special equipment that southern California Sheriff's have. One has a person in charge that makes $211,000 a year.  What are you thinking, Mr. temporary Sheriff?  Supervisor Oliveira says he just wants better communication, which he says was NON-existent during the Butte Fire.

CAO assistant silent--Shirley Ryan is already missed

Shirley Ryan, Calaveras CAO, is on vacation on November 15, 2016, prior to her retirement at the end of 2016. Brian Moss, her assistant is sitting in on the Special Meeting of the Board of Supervisors.

Shirley would be showing the Board members where things were and what the proposal would say. Moss sits there silently, not having a clue of what needs to happen. Shirley Ryan will be missed in 2017.

Only one Supervisor will be here in 2017

The discussion about the Office of Emergency Services provisions presented by the Sheriff's Office sounds very vague and the lack of notification of the Board of Supervisors was not documented.

The only Supervisor currently on the Board in Calaveras who will still be seated in January of 2017 is District 3 Supervisor Michael Oliveira.  Are they planning on approving this today, without guidelines???

Kearney a no-show for Special Meeting

The Calaveras Supervisors Special Meeting of November 15, 2016 was just called to order at 10:45 AM without Steve Kearney, defeated Supervisor from District 5 not present.

They are meeting to discuss the Office of Emergency Services with the Sheriff.

Infighting among Trump cabinet committee

Being called a "knife fight" among  the committee members helping  pick Trumps cabinet, his insiders are competing for the jobs they want.

Pence traveled to the Trump Tower this morning to meet with the President elect, in hopes of smoothing out some of the problems.  It is already a fact that Jonathan Alter of THE DAILY  BEAST says that "Bannon will eat Priebus alive."

We do not post comments that.....
