Good news for thousands of Native Americans

   The Army Corp of Engineers today released a statement that the proposed Dakota Pipeline will be stopped; will not be allowed to cross the river or run under it.

   The Native Americans and many honorable veterans from around the nation are camping at the site, protesting the pipeline.  Finally, someone appears to be listening.

U-Haul truck crashes on Hwy 99

   December 4, 2016 at 2:35 PM:  A U-Haul truck and a car have collided on Hwy 99 at the West Main Street offramp in Turlock.

   It isn't known if there are injuries. Be extra cautious if in that area.

Death toll rises to 30 in Oakland fire

   The death toll keeps rising in the warehouse fire in Oakland as authorities search using shovels and buckets after the roof collapsed, causing the 2nd floor to collapse during the fire.

   Many bodies are not identifiable and they have asked families to preserve any possible DNA of their missing loved ones as they try to help families claim the bodies.

Boulder on Hwy 88

   December 4, 2016 at 2:20 PM:  A large boulder has reportedly rolled onto Hwy 88 at Cooks Station.

    Beware of the hazard until CHP can set up a clear path in the area.

Dead deer on Surrey Lane in Murphys

   December 4, 2016 at 10:20 AM:  A dead deer has been reported on Surrey Lane and Sunny Oak Court in Murphys.

  Be cautious if in that area until authorities can remove it from the roadway. Another driver without deer warning whistles, apparently.

49ers in Chicago Raiders at home

   The San Francisco 49ers are in Chicago playing the Bears this morning.  The game is on FOX.

   The Niners are 1 and 10 this season, and not much hope is held out that they could even win one more. Meanwhile the Raiders are at home against the Buffalo Bills today. The Raiders are 9 and 2.

Death toll rises to 24 in Oakland fire

   Authorities report this morning that the death toll from the party in a warehouse in Oakland continues to grow.

   The number is now confirmed at 24 dead as a search continues.
