Earthquakes felt in Ebbetts Pass

   Last nights earthquakes were felt in the Ebbetts Pass area.  At least three centered in Nevada, were felt in the Hwy 4 area around Arnold to Bear Valley.

   If you live in that part of the county and your dogs were restless, that's most likely why. Better secure your valuable glassware.  One registered at 5.6.

Traffic collision in San Andreas

   December 28, 2016 at 11:15 AM:  A traffic collision has been reported at Hwy 49 and Hwy 12 in San Andreas.

   An ambulance and CHP are responding to the scene.  Be cautious if headed that way.

Breaking Bad marathon on AMC

   Are you watching the Breaking Bad marathon on AMC.  They are showing every episode in order.

   It's really good if you missed the one about the pizza on the roof or where Mr. White blows up the office of his buyer.

Toyota overturned on Hwy 88

   December 28, 2016 at 9:25 AM:  A Toyota Tacoma has overturned on Hwy 88 near Cook's Station.

   No injuries have been indicated,  but be extra cautious until the car can be removed from the roadway.

Cows on Hwy 4 in Copperopolis

   December 28, 2016 at 8:30 AM:  Cows have been reported on Hwy 4 at Telegraph in Copperopolis.

   CHP is en route to the scene. Be extra cautious if headed in that direction.

Car into ditch in Tuolumne

   December 28, 2016 at 7:15 AM:  A car left Cherokee Road and is now in a ditch in Tuolumne.

   It isn't known if there are injuries. CHP is en route to the scene.

Calaveras to have all male Supervisors

   On January 3, 2016 at 11 AM Calaveras County will have a swearing in ceremony for three newly elected Supervisors.  Clyde Clapp of District 5 has already been sworn in.

   Jack Garamendi will replace Chris Wright in District 2, Gary Tofanelli will represent District 1 and  Dennis Mills was elected to represent District 4.  All 5 Supervisors will now be men.  The public is invited to attend.

Overturned vehicle in Jamestown

   December 28, 2016 at 7:10 AM:  An overturned vehicle has been reported on Hwy 49 at Main Street in Jamestown.

   No injuries have been indicated, but be cautious as a tow truck uprights the vehicle.
