State of California extends drought???

   In what is the wettest year on record in California, the State Water Board decided to extend the drought at least another 270 days.

   We have to face it, the state and our local water companies have WASTED so much time and money on handling the drought, they don't know how to get out of it now.

   Not surprisingly Chaffetz, head of the investigation committee in Congress says he's not interested in investigating the leaked wrongdoings of the Trump administration, only attempting to find out who is leaking the facts.

   The Republicans are going to protect Trump as long as they possibly can, try to avoid impeachment for as long as possible!!  Seems to us, we remember this is what Nixon tried to do!  It didn't work!

Mokelumne Hill woman arrested

  On February 15, 2017 the Calaveras Sheriff's Office arrested Jessica Nichole England (34) of Mokelumne Hill on  Higdon Spink CutOff in West Point.

   England was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for allegedly Willfully Discharging a Firearm, a felony and for Exhibiting a Firearm and Trespassing, both misdemeanors, and then released on bond.

Felony arrest in San Andreas

   On February 15, 2017 Calaveras Sheriff's deputies arrested Kent Leroy Dayton of San Andreas at the Calaveras County DRC Center.

    Dayton was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale, Transporting a Controlled Substance for Sale and Building a False Compartment in his vehicle to hide controlled substances, all felonies and for Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor.
