  Although it has nearly always been a County of Calaveras practice and code of a Right to Farm, the City of Angels Camp, as usual, is against everything that gives rights to anyone.

Opposition, appeal of Chevron signage in Angels Camp??

   At the March 7, 2017 City Council meeting, the signage at the Chevron Gas Station downtown will be heard as an appeal against the Planning Commission's approval.

   The mostly UN-elected City Council plans to uphold the PC's decision, however. We don't have details at this time.

Sarah Louise Locke of San Andreas

1000 customers without water in Arnold

   From 10 AM until about 2 PM CCWD says that 1000 customers in Meadowmont subdivision in Arnold will be without water today, March 2, 2017.

   They are digging up in the old Meadowmont Golf Course to fix the massive leak.

Mother Lode Friends of Music Sunday at Bret Harte Theater

Mokelumne Hill woman arrested: Alleged Assault

   On March 1, 2017 the Calaveras Sheriff's office arrested Bradi Kathleen Dunn (49) of Mokelumne Hill at her home on Ponderosa Way.

   Dunn was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged Assault with a Firearm on a Person, a felony.
