Car vs. fence near Toyon

  April 14, 2017 at 5:20 PM:  A car has left the road and hit a fence at Hwy 26 and Double Springs Road near Toyon Middle School.

   No injuries have been indicated. CHP is en route to the scene.

Throw the racist (religious) cowards OUT!!!

  If Democrats really work at it, and none of them stays home on election day, we can get rid of a lot of these racist (religious) cowards in 2018.  And some of them are here in Calaveras and our Congressional District.

    There are so many in office because regular folks just didn't think it was necessary for them to vote; that the nice people would win easily.  NOT true!  VOTE!  VOTE!   VOTE!!!

New Fire Station in Paloma???

   The Mokelumne Hill Fire Protection District is planning to build a new fire station on Main Street in Paloma.

   Their plans are before the Calaveras County Supervisors for approval at this time.

Voting & Language Accessibility Advisory Committee

   Notice is hereby given that the Calaveras County Registrar of Voters is convening a Voting and Language Accessibility Advisory Committee.

   All those interested are advised to submit an application and attend the first meeting on April 24, 2017 at 10 AM in the Registrar of Voters Office at 891 Mountain Ranch Road.

Wallace man arrested

   On April 13, 2017 around 9:30 AM Calaveras Sheriff's deputies arrested Thomas Elias Soto (28) of Wallace at his residence on Hwy 12.

    Soto was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for allegedly Threatening a Crime with Intent to Terrorize, Stalking, Indecent Exposure and Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, gang related; all felonies.

Youth Parade May 18....

   Time to register to be part of the Calaveras County Fair Youth Parade (formerly known as the Kiddie Parade) in downtown Angels Camp.
