Copperopolis woman dies in crash

   According to the CHP report, on April 14, 2017 around 3:25 PM Margaret Howery (88) of Copperopolis was driving a 2007 Suzuki Forenza northbound on Obyrnes Ferry Road

Calaveras Supervisor Tofanelli says cannabis committee 'hi-jacked'!

   At the April 18, 2017 Calaveras Supervisors Special Meeting regarding cannabis, Supervisor Tofanelli accused the adhoc committee of being hi-jacked.

Point of Order by Reinke of Angels Camp

   At the Calaveras Supervisors meeting, the first member of the public to speak was Vickie Reinke's husband, and personal friend of Mills, saying 'Point of Order' and that he feels Mr. Mills was going to support a BAN.

   He is mad that the county is not going to support a ban, as all the Tea Party (Reinke' s) club, wants!!

Supervisor Mills says Chair Oliveira confused

   Supervisor Mills made the first statement regarding the cannabis agenda item for the Special Meeting on April 18, 2017.

Crash on Murphys Grade Road

   April 18, 2017 at 9:15 AM:  A traffic crash has been reported on Murphys Grade Road and Parkview Court in the Murphys area.

   Two CHP are at the scene. An ambulance is en route. Avoid the area until cleared.

Collsion on Hwy 12

   April 18, 2017 at 9:10 AM:  A two car collision has been reported on Hwy 12 and Burson Road in Burson.

  No injuries were indicated, but be cautious until a tow truck can remove the vehicles.

Calaveras Supervisors meeting on POT!!!

   On Tuesday April 18, 2017 at 10 the Calaveras Supervisors will be holding a Special Meeting to discuss the future of cannabis in the county.

   Of course, only the most staunch alcoholics

Collision on Hwy 49

  April 18, 2017 @ 8:30 AM:  A car that was reportedly attempting to pass on Hwy 49 near Meacham Ranch Road in Angels Camp, is now stuck in the ditch off the roadway.

   CHP is en route. No injuries have  been indicated, but be extra cautious if in that area.

Collision on Hwy 4

   April 18, 2017 at 7:10 AM:  A traffic collision has been reported on Hwy 4 at Stallion below Angels Camp.

  No injuries have been indicated. CHP is at the scene. Be careful if headed in that direction.
