Dog struck on Hwy 4
June 23, 2017 at 2 PM: A dog has reportedly been struck by a red car on Hwy 4 in front of Meadwomont Shopping Center in Arnold.
Be cautious, as the dog is in the roadway. CHP is en route to the scene.

June 23, 2017 at 1 PM: CHP is at the scene of a solo vehicle that ran off Hwy 49 near Cosgrove, just outside Angels Camp.
An ambulance is responding. Traffic was backed up in both directions, but is now one-way, being directed by CHP. Be careful until they can clear this one.

Felon with Firearm in San Andreas
On June 22, 2017 Calaveras Sheriff's deputies booked Joshua Gary Riddell (28) of San Andreas, at the Calaveras County Sheriff's Office.
Riddell was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for allegedly being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm, a felony.
