   June 26, 2017 at 12:50 PM:  A traffic collision has been reported on Hwy 12 between Lodi and Lockeford.
  
   Minor injuries have been indicated.  Two tow trucks are responding. 

Smoke check in Twain Harte

   June 26, 2017 at 11 AM:  A fire has been reported on Feather River Drive in the Twain Harte area.

   A smoke check for illegal burning is being conducted.  No burning is allowed in Calaveras or Tuolumne counties!!

Calaveras County burglaries; to shed, shop, garage, car

   On June 25, 2017 a burglary was reported to the Calaveras Sheriff about a shed broken into at a residence on Pope Street

   On June 24, 2017 a burglary was reported at a residence on Horseshoe Drive in Hathaway Pines. The Calaveras Sheriff

Burglaries in Copperopolis

     On June 23, 2017 a residential burglary was reported on Council Trail in Copperopolis. No other details available. The Calaveras Sheriff's Office took a report.

   Also on June 23, 2017 a commercial burglary was reported on Lake Tulloch Place in Copperopolis. The Sheriff took the report.

Sonora resident arrested at New Melones

   On June 25, 2017 the Calaveras Sheriff's Office arrested Peter Scialabba (39) of Sonora at New Melones Reservoir.

   Scialabba was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged Assault with a Deadly Weapon (not a firearm), a felony and for Battery, a misdemeanor.

Harm to elder dependent in Mokelumne Hill

  On June 24, 2017 Calaveras Sheriff's deputies arrested Jeffrey Lynn Hagerman (56) at his residence on Center Street in Mokelumne Hill.

   Hagerman was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for allegedly Causing Harm/Death to an Elderly Dependent, a felony and for Disorderly Conduct due to Alcohol, a misdemeanor.

Car runs into ditch

   June 26,2017 at 7:30 AM:  A car has reportedly run off Barbour Road in Rancho Calaveras and into the ditch in front of someone's home.

     CHP is at the scene. No injuries have been indicated. A tow truck is responding.

Cooler this week

 The National Weather Service promises our weather will not be as scorching hot as it has been.

  It's supposed to stay in the 90's for the week.  That's a little better, anyway.
